Monese is a UK-founded mobile-money and electronic-money service launched in 2015, not a bank. The institution's public site describes UK and EEA customer offerings and states that Monese was acquired by Pockit in 2024 while continuing under the Monese name. This GoCardless (formerly Nordigen) connector is specifically keyed to the EEA entity Monese EU SA, whose active BIC MNEEBEB2 is registered in Brussels; Monese's legal disclosures say EEA e-money accounts are provided by PPS EU SA through Monese EU SA as its agent.
