Bulkley Valley Credit Union (BVCU) is a Canadian credit union based in Smithers, British Columbia, formed as a farmers' financial cooperative in spring 1941 and serving members from the Hazeltons to the Lakes District through branches in Smithers, Houston, Burns Lake and Hazelton. Its site at bvcu.com serves the Canadian market only, and the credit union is independent, without a parent bank. This Plaid connector reaches BVCU member accounts held at the credit union, which members sign in to through the credit union's own online banking with a card number and password rather than an OAuth redirect; the provider record lists balances, transactions, transaction refresh, assets, a credit-score product and an account-risk signal. Personal and business banking are both offered, the business side through MemberDirect Business, although the exact account segments and products this connector retrieves are not published by the bank and no connected-account sample was available. It should not be confused with Bow Valley Credit Union, an unrelated Alberta credit union, nor with BVCU's separate Finicity and Yodlee connectors, which share the same front door and login but are distinct integrations with unestablished scope overlap. BVCU publishes no Plaid connection guide, and no SWIFT/BIC code is registered for it.
