Sparebank 1 SMN Norway 🇳🇴
Fintable bank API integration powered by GoCardless (formerly Nordigen).
Fintable integrates with Sparebank 1 SMN APIs to sync your finances to spreadsheets.
Fintable is a financial tool which automatically connects to your bank accounts and exports balances and transactions to Google Sheets or Airtable. This integration is powered by GoCardless (formerly Nordigen) in Norway.
SpareBank 1 SMN is an independent Norwegian savings bank and financial-services group headquartered in Trondheim, with origins in Trondhjems Sparebank, established in 1823. It serves households and businesses in Norway, particularly Central Norway, and is a member of the SpareBank 1 Alliance. This GoCardless (formerly Nordigen) connector provides access to SMN account balances and transactions for personal, business and corporate accounts; the provider also identifies support for pending transactions. NOK current accounts labelled BRUKSKONTO and Ledger account/reskontro have been observed in connected accounts. The provider specifies up to 90 days of transaction history and access validity of up to 180 days. This connector is for SMN, not every independent bank sharing the SpareBank 1 brand and website. Separate Tink personal-banking connectors and an Enable Banking business-and-personal connector also represent SMN, but their additional product and technical coverage should not be assumed identical. Credit cards, investments, insurance and pensions are not established as covered by this GoCardless connector.

An alternative SpareBank 1 SMN connection through Enable Banking is available in Fintable for Norwegian personal and business accounts. You can try it if you encounter duplicate imports through GoCardless, but we have not verified whether it avoids this issue: https://fintable.io/coverage?search=SpareBank+1+SMN&preview=institution%3A31442947

We improved matching for SpareBank 1 SMN payments whose underlying bank identifier stays the same. Further checks found apparent duplicate payments where both identifiers changed, which the earlier correction did not cover. GoCardless confirmed that its developers were continuing the investigation with the bank. A complete resolution had not been confirmed.

Duplicate imports were confirmed for SpareBank 1 SMN through GoCardless after bank-supplied transaction references and descriptions changed. Fintable could treat the updated version of a payment as a separate transaction.
