Education Credit Union (ECU) was an Ontario member-owned credit union founded in 1972 to serve the Kitchener–Waterloo education community. It merged with Windsor Family Credit Union in 2020 and continued as ECU, a division of WFCU, before its separate brand was brought under the WFCU name in 2026; its former website now redirects to WFCU. This Plaid connector was listed for ECU members in Canada for balances and transactions, but whether it still connects their personal or business accounts after the brand transition is unconfirmed. WFCU’s own banking connectors are distinct, as is the unrelated US Education Credit Union.
