bunq B.V. is a Dutch app-based bank founded in 2012, licensed in 2014 and launched to the public in 2015. It offers personal accounts, savings, cards and business banking through a shared European website; Malta is among its supported personal-account markets. This Enable Banking connector is the Malta entry for personal and business bank-account access, using redirect authorization for account balances and transactions. The business designation does not mean that Malta-incorporated companies can open accounts: bunq currently accepts businesses registered in nine other European countries. The precise eligibility of existing business accounts through this Malta connector, and its coverage of savings or other individual products, has not been established. Stocks and crypto services advertised in the app should not be assumed to be included. Other Enable Banking country entries and bunq connectors through GoCardless, Plaid and Tink are separate integrations for the same bank, not separate Maltese banks or interchangeable coverage.
