Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union (GMFCU) was a member-owned credit union serving the St. Louis area of Missouri and neighboring Illinois in the United States. Founded by Southwestern Bell employees in 1935 as St. Louis Headquarters Telephone Credit Union, it later became Gateway Telco Credit Union and Gateway Metro Credit Union, obtaining its federal charter in 2007. It merged into West Community Credit Union in 2026 and became united under the West Community name on October 1. This Plaid connector represents Gateway Metro's former member-account access for balances and transactions, rather than the successor's separate West Community connector. Gateway Metro offered checking, savings, money market accounts, share certificates, retirement accounts and consumer loans, but the exact products retrieved by Plaid, including any business-account coverage, are not established. Separate Finicity, Yodlee, Teller and Akoya connectors also represent Gateway Metro; their account scope and authentication should not be assumed interchangeable with this non-OAuth Plaid integration.
