Volksbank Rems eG was a regional German cooperative bank serving the Rems area around Waiblingen. It merged with Stuttgarter Volksbank in 2010 to form the institution now known as Volksbank Stuttgart eG, a cooperative retail bank whose current German site offers personal and business banking. This Tabs API connector is identified in the FinTS v3 beta directory by BLZ 60290110 and the former Volksbank Rems name. The successor bank’s official information describes FinTS as usable in personal and business banking software with PIN/TAN or HBCI security and account and transaction services, but the precise account types retrievable through this particular beta connector have not been established; no connected accounts were sampled. The provider BIC GENODES1VWN belongs in the SWIFT directory to DZ BANK AG, with a Waiblingen branch address, and does not make DZ BANK the retail institution represented here. Volksbank Remseck is a separate, similarly named institution, not this connector. Volksbank Rems no longer operates independently following the 2010 merger; the former website could not be reached in this research.
